A few weeks ago, Go Ahead Tours hosted bestselling author Frances Mayes at our Cambridge, MA headquarters. The event was a fantastic success, with Frances sharing her travel experiences, signing books and joining our travelers in sampling Tuscan wines and delicacies. Thank you so very much for sharing this experience through video with fellow GoAhead travelers. Having read the book and seen the movie Under the Tuscan Sun at least 17 times, it was great to see Ms. Mayes in person. I am off to purchase her latest book and reminisce about my own personal experiences from several journeys to the “Toscano” region of Italy. By the way if GoAhead decides to host a similar event in the Washington, DC area I would gladly serve as a volunteer host, etc.
